10th Annual Festival September 23, 24, 25, 26

We strive to make this a unique Festival by making it 100% local/regional, from all the live music, to the art, food, beer and wine! The week before also features agricultural educational opportunities through workshops taught by local farmers.

Paonia Town Park features a gazebo with free live music all weekend, a huge children’s  activity area, local handmade arts and crafts vendors, local food vendors, agricultural workshops and a local beer and wine tent. Sunday features a LOCAL FARMER'S MARKET where you are sure to get a deal on the last food of the season

Schedule Overview

This free 4-day Festival - always the last full weekend of September - is based out of the idyllic Paonia Town Park, but also encompasses music venues on Paonia's Grand Ave, art galleries and wineries throughout the North Fork Valley, and farms and farmers from the whole county

Thursday

Our festival weekend kicks off this year on Thursday with agricultural classes in the morning and afternoon. (Check for information on our farm page.) The evening begins with an opening reception for our major sponsors and friends of the festival at 6:30 at the KVNF blue room. At 7:30 pm the wonderfully acclaimed Harvest of Voices begins at the Blue Sage Center for the Arts. This event is always well attended so get there early to get a good seat. This year KVNF will be broadcasting this event over the airways.

Friday

Our agricultural classes continue with morning and afternoon classes. (Check for details on classes on the farm page.) Then later in the afternoon let the music begin! Starting at 4:00 meet your friends and local residents at the town park for the annual chili cookoff. Dig into many varieties of chili, and wash it down with local beer or wine. Following the chili cookoff and music in the park, head downtown for the fall fashion show at the Paradise Theatre, and the pub crawl.

Saturday

Get up early and take a little run.  Go visit some farms and vineyards.  Check out the Harvest Fair and music all afternoon in the park.  Finally, grab some dinner and spend the evening listening to 16 bands in 4 venues, all for one ticket.

Sunday

After a full day and a late night, start this day with Rotary’s Bountiful Brunch.  Then spend the rest of Sunday in the park enjoying the best and final farmer’s market of the season.  Listen to lots more music.  Shop the Harvest Fair for arts and crafts and food - all local!
